Hodge Hill Family Practice Rated “Good” Across All Areas by Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has published its latest inspection report for the Hodge Hill Family Practice following an assessment conducted in March 2026. The practice has been awarded an overall rating of “Good”, with “Good” ratings achieved across all five key domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led.

Coventry & Rugby GP Alliance (CRGPA), the provider of the Hodge Hill Family Practice since 2024, has welcomed the positive findings. The report highlights a number of key strengths, including a strong learning culture, safe and effective management of medicines, collaborative teamwork, and a compassionate approach to patient care that upholds dignity and the needs of individuals.

Inspectors also recognised the practice’s ongoing efforts to improve patient access and its commitment to addressing health inequalities within the local community. Areas of improvement have also been identified such as addressing un-summarised patient records. CRGPA is delivering on an action plan to address this in a timely and sustainable way.

CRGPA remains committed to working closely with staff, patients, and partners to continue delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care at Hodge Hill Family Practice.
